The stereo systems come in three broad types, Hi-Fi, Mid-Fi and Low-fi. The Hi fi is a kind of a mini system that comes with a wattage of 40-100 per channel and a speaker of good quality. the price range is between 400-2000$, but all that depends on the features therein. The Mid-fi system are good to use for children's rooms as secondary systems. They are more economical because they range between 200-400$

The Low-Fi are more of a boom box as far as sound quality is concerned. They re not so bad though because you can still play both tapes and CDs in them. Other additional features are amplifier, speakers, AM/FM tune, sub woofer and tape deck. Special features are bass boost circuitry, mega CD changer, electronic equalization or graphic equalizer, spacial sound enhancement that gives you great circuitry, video inputs and mini disc recorders.
